Proxy Purchase Authorization Terms & Conditions

Restore the Day may make purchases or complete transactions on your behalf as part of fulfilling your request. These Terms & Conditions explain how your payment information and purchase authorization are handled.

Your Payment Information

Restore the Day may securely collect your credit card information in advance so it is available when needed to fulfill a request. Your CVV is not collected or stored with your card information.

Having a credit card on file does not authorize Restore the Day to make a purchase. Authorization is obtained separately when we are ready to complete a transaction on your behalf.

Authorizing a Purchase

Before completing a purchase, Restore the Day will provide you with the estimated or final amount of the transaction, based on the information available at that time.

To authorize the purchase, you will be:

• Sent the purchase details and estimated or final amount;

• Asked to confirm that you agree to these Terms & Conditions; and

• Asked to securely provide the CVV associated with the credit card being used.

Your CVV and authorization will be submitted through a secure process. We will never ask you to send your CVV directly by email, text, or chat.

By completing these steps, you authorize Restore the Day to use your card on file to complete the specific purchase or transaction presented to you. Your authorization applies only to that specific transaction.

Changes to the Final Amount

In some cases, the final charge may differ slightly from the amount presented due to taxes, shipping, service fees, or third-party provider pricing changes.

By authorizing the transaction, you agree that Restore the Day may complete the purchase if the final charge is within 10% of the amount presented, not to exceed a $25 increase.

If the final amount exceeds this allowance, we will contact you for additional approval before completing the purchase.

Third-Party Purchases

When Restore the Day makes a purchase on your behalf, we are acting as your agent in facilitating the transaction and are not the seller, manufacturer, or provider of the product or service.

• Third-party products and services are subject to the applicable provider’s pricing, availability, terms, cancellation policies, return policies, refund policies, and warranties.

• Restore the Day does not make warranties regarding third-party providers, products, or services and is not responsible for circumstances outside of our control, including provider acts or omissions, product defects, non-delivery, delays, cancellations, substitutions, or provider pricing errors.

• Returns, refunds, warranty claims, and other disputes are subject to the applicable provider’s policies.

We’re Here to Help

Although provider policies ultimately govern third-party purchases, Restore the Day is here to support you. If an issue arises with a purchase we coordinated on your behalf, we will make every reasonable effort to assist with communication and help work toward a resolution with the provider.

Your Agreement

By checking the box indicating that you agree to these Proxy Purchase Authorization Terms & Conditions and securely providing your CVV, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the purchase information provided and authorize Restore the Day to complete the specific transaction on your behalf in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
